Crooked House

A country life in France

Déja Vu

Here we are: Lockdown v2.0 began at midnight last night.

We arrived home from a month-long trip just after lunchtime yesterday, squeaking in under the wire rather better than we did in March, when we were an hour or two late and had to come home, attestation in hand.

Lockdown v1 did not gain as much of my attention here as it should have done. It has been pointed out to me how important it is that ordinary folk should document these times for the benefit of those who come after. I shall try far harder this time to maintain a daily diary. At the very least it will give me something to do – other than filling in my Attestation.

But how much can there be to say, when we are permitted to do so little?

Got something to say?
